Dear Friends of Hopewell Love,

Since 2005, Hopewell Love has had the mission of supporting our neighbors in need and providing meaningful opportunities for volunteers. In 2025, we completed our transformation into Hopewell Love Community Services. 

With a growing number of volunteers, we have continued our drive-thru distributions on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Birdsboro and our client choice food distributions at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Douglassville on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

The community meals on the 1st Tuesday of each month at St. Mark’s remain a popular gathering for all our neighbors to share a meal and fellowship. We are grateful for the organizations and churches that cook and serve these delicious meals.

The Community Fridge/Freezer established in partnership with St. Mark’s has become a heavily used area that enables us to provide round-the-clock access to a variety of food options for our neighbors. It is restocked multiple times each week with items from St. Mark’s Food Recovery program, community garden donations and donations from community members. Our food pantry was also the fortunate recipient of multiple food drives held by volunteers in our area this past year.

Hopewell Love Community Services also provides emergency financial assistance to our neighbors within the Birdsboro/Douglassville area to fulfill a variety of needs as described in the attached 2025 Impact Report. 

Of course, we couldn’t do any of this vital community work without your support. We need your prayers, volunteer time, your presence at our meals, and financial resources. Any financial contributions should be written to “Hopewell Love Community Services”, 5 Brooke Manor, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
